Welcome to Pickup, an iOS application that helps people organize pickup games, track stats, and share highlights with their friend group ("we", "our", "Pickup"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pickup app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our \[Privacy Policy]. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use Pickup. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. Username uniqueness is enforced: once you claim a username, it's tied to your account until you change it or delete your account.
Pickup lets you post game results, participant rosters, video highlights, chat messages, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting, you grant Pickup a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your User Content within the Service for the purpose of operating and improving it. You will not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, infringing of others' intellectual property, or that contains personal data of other people without their consent.
Pickup relies on community reports to identify harmful content. Any user may report another user's profile, a video highlight, or a chat message from within the app. We reserve the right to remove content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. Egregious violations (harassment, illegal content, repeat infringement) will result in permanent account removal.
Pickup Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription ($4.99/month USD, or local equivalent). It unlocks features including the Film Room and expanded highlight capture. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Each renewal is billed 24 hours before the current period ends unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone's Settings → \[your name] → Subscriptions. No refunds are given for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law. Pickup does not retain payment card information — all billing is handled by Apple.
Pickup uses the following third-party services to operate: Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, messaging, analytics), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple Push Notification Service (notifications), and Apple Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In (optional authentication). Your use of Pickup is also subject to those providers' terms. Data shared with each provider is described in our \[Privacy Policy].
The Pickup app, logo, UI, and underlying software are owned by \[COMPANY LEGAL NAME] and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the app except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Pickup does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Pickup is not responsible for injuries or disputes that arise from real-world pickup games organized through the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pickup's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Pickup in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion scrubs your profile from Firestore, drops your authentication record, removes your roster presence for other users, and revokes your username. Pickup may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
